Quality Content: A Curation of Academic and Literacy Resources
School librarians are naturals at curating information.
Staff, if you are looking for quality content that includes academic & literacy resources to use in the classroom, to use as professional PD, to use on CTLS, or for students to use at home, feel free to check out this monthly curation. Through social media, Mrs. Quintana often comes across relevant content created by other educator professionals, education companies, education tech apps, education vendors, book authors, and more, to help support student learning in all academic areas, as well as reading and other important literacies.
This is a curation of the work of other's that has been shared for the benefit of all educators and in which I feel would benefit student learning at Fair Oaks and/or help provide colleagues with professional learning, lesson plan ideas, and/or classroom activities. I do not claim other's work as my own, and all resources are credited. This is very important. Credit should always be given to the original creator. I appreciate the kindness of education experts who help other educators, whose end result is to help students and their academic success, just as this curation of "quality content" will help benefit other educators outside of Fair Oaks once posted. #BetterTogether is a common slogan, and it continues to be relevant in the education profession.
Note: If at any time, an original creator of content would like their work removed from this curation, please contact lori.quintana@cobbk12org.
